My name is Leda Fortier. I'm a student at Ball State University pursuing my Bachelor of Social Work degree with minors in Sociology and Interpersonal Relations.
Trans* Allyship began as an Honors project to create a practice guide for working with trans* clients for students in one of my social work classes. Toward the end of its development, I decided to make the guide a website instead for a couple of reasons:
As a queer individual and partner of a trans* person, I am very passionate about social work with the queer community. Additionally, I would like to work with people with disabilities and older adults.

- Website = more accessible & more people can benefit from the information I have put together
